So, its like a sissy boy slap fight? Maybe B and C are running an intervention.
More like it is adjacency and LOF are two completely different concepts in Heroclix and it is quite possible for a character to have one and not the other.
Characters block LOF. Characters do not* prevent adjacency. And that is really about as deep as it goes.
(*of course there are some exceptions. For example, if B and C in your example was actually the two ends of a double-based character, adjacency would be blocked.)
Normal, see, I'm perfectly fine with a thread in complete agreement, until someone goes and says something about one of the many exceptions.
Normal does that mean that adjacency could be cut by a double base figure with leap/climb?
. . .
x 1 .
2 x .
. . .
1 and 2 are duking it out. x is a double base with flight. He decides to move to the two spots marked as x. This means that 1 & 2 are not not adjacent and your piece is now free to move away and your opponents piece is based by your double baser? That's pretty keen.

You could also slap a barrier down to break the adjacency.
No rest until the great works of Anthony Edward Stark are in clix forms
Soon...his works will be realized... in 2013 the Hall of Armor in clix!
NO they can see each other just fine. They just dont have LoF to one another.
Remember LoF is not the same as Line of Sight.

Well, seeing as how line of sight doesn't even exist in this game, I think it is a wee bit misleading to say "they aren't the same thing"... that kind of implies that they both exist (even if they are different).
Rather, it is just better to say "there is no line of sight, only line of fire".
Rather, it is just better to say "there is no line of sight, only line of fire".
Yes, it would be more accurate to say Line of Sight is not a game mechanic.
But its also equally incorrect to say that not having Line of Fire means you cant see somebody.
Because it doesnt say that anywhere in the rules that you cant see them when you cant draw LoF.
When people start making analogies it helps to remember that when LoF is required to perform a certain action or power its not just talking about the ability to see a figure but a game mechanic that implies a bit more then just simple visual perception.
