Turn 6b:
Free) Tomar Tu will Perplex his attack to 11.
1)Tomar Tu will RS to G12 and take his shot. 18 + 2 (perplex) + 1 hindering - 11 = need 10 sigh. Rolled 2,1=3 miss well can't complain about the high def. there. Would have missed the average criminal with that roll!
2) John moves to A12.
3) G'Nort Pushes to put the barrier back in A9, B8, C9, B10.
GLC:
1) John Stewart (6/6) A12 @
2) Tomar Tu (7/7) G12 @
3) G'Nort (4/6) F15 @@
4) Arisa (4/7) G15
Sorry but your turns are going to be very boring, but it is the only way the GLC has a chance. Your blast actually saved me from making the hard choice of whether to push G'Nort to get to his Barrier clicks and you knocked Arisa straight to another Barrier click. This is why one unit armies without Hypersonic do not work if you have the right team. Barrier is a very cool power if used correctly.
Turn 7b:
Barrier comes down
Free) G'Nort Outwits Your 'Strange Magicks' Special Power (the +2 one)
1) Arisa Barriers in A9, B8, C9, B10
Everyone else clears.
The map utility is down so I can't update the map. Don't worry about it, I will take care of it on my next turn.
Descriptive Post:
G'Nort was at the end if his leash. Just as Hal's beating crashed the cage he changed it into a giant muzzle that captured his hands and another his feet. Hal crashed to the ground and thrashed there snarling. Suddenly another green cage appeared and replaced the one that G'Nort had been unable to maintain.
"Focus people. Work as a team. Working together we can bring him under control without hurting him too bad." John's cool voice was a balm on all of them. He and Tomar Tu moved in and prepared to do an analysis on Hal. "Hold him for just a bit longer. We need to get an idea of what we are dealing with here."
"I wish we had one of the Green Lantern Doctors here. This looks way beyond anything I have seen before."
"Right now we are all there is so we just have to make do."

Free) Tomar Tu will Perplex up his attack to 11.
2) Tomar Tu will attack Hal, Skrull roll 4. 18 + 1 Hindering - 11 - ATA 1 = need 7. Rolled 4,5=9 hit. Hal Takes 3 damage.
3) G'Nort will Barrier A9, B8, C9, B10.
Descriptive Post:
John started to talk to Hal in soothing tones. He tried to put several probes in to the sething red aura around him. Everything he tried though was smashed to pieces.
After about 30 seconds of fustration Tomar Tu formed a giant green fire hose. Two ring generated firemen ran one end out the front of the bar. A moment later the hose filled with water. After 5 minutes of watching John's constructs smashed and not getting any sort of answers he said. "Stand back." When John backed up a step Tomar let loose with torent of bluish green water. When he turned it off it the aura looked smaller but Hal had not lost any of his mad thrashing.

Mwahahahah...Your Jedi mind tricks will not work on me boy! {If it wasn't for that Skrull TA I probably would go ahead and push and end it. But with my luck I would roll two 6s and grasp defeat from the jaws of victory! }

3) G'Nort will Barrier A9, B8, C9, B10 to contain any contamination.
Thanks for taking this game. Sorry that such a promising outlook ended up in a rather dull game for you. I will be posting a training game if you are up for a rematch with something more balanced.

Hal staggered, the red light bleeding off him in erratic waves. The Lanterns surrounded him, rings raised and readied.
“Hold him,” John said, raising his left fist as a signal to wait. “He’s weakening, and we don’t want him hurt. Just… stopped.”
Hal stumbled from foot to foot, wandering in place in a circle, looking from face to face – from ring to ring. Drool frothed in his mouth, dripping from his cracked, dry lips. He was barely recognizable as himself, as if some wild, mad beast was somehow wearing his face.
With a sudden turn, he stomped one foot and sent a shockwave out. He roared, his voice taking form as red fire that burned anything it touched. The Lanterns had to go on a sudden defensive, dodging and deflecting but finding that the flames were like a liquid phosphorous and burnt right through their shields.
Arisia shook it off and just had time to see Hal streaking off through the ceiling and into the sky. She didn’t hesitate, launching herself after him with all the speed she could draw.
He flew a wild, uncontrolled course through the city of criminals and extragalactic filth. She followed after, weaving through the sky-car traffic at insane speeds. She had to keep perfectly alert for his sudden turns, jerking off to the left or right, slamming through the corner of a building or through the middle of a cargo hauler’s freight. His red light was burning off the whole way, and she knew he was running out of power – she just had to keep close enough to catch him when he fell. Arisia slipped over and under, around and through, a graceful green unicorn chasing a burning red bull through a cityscape that was constantly finding more to drop in their path.
At last, he went down and she went after. He crashed through a rooftop structure, leaving a hole through the top that she dropped cautiously through. It was dark inside, water dripping down through the hole above and the sounds of the hyper-charged city seemed forever away but just one opened door from crashing back in on her senses. She looked around and saw a pair of legs extending from the black shadows and into the ring of light.
“Hal…?”
She stepped closer, peering into the darkness. His uniform was ragged and shredded almost beyond recognition. Steam rose from his skin and every twitch of his muscles looked like agony. She came up beside him and knelt by his side. His head slowly turned to her and he looked up with eyes that couldn’t see. His hair hung limp over a face caked in sweat. He looked hallowed and sunken, like the red light had been feeding on his body to fuel itself. It would have burnt him out completely if it had gone much longer.
When his eyes opened, he couldn’t see past the pain at first. The world was blackness and white; where it was dark, it was impenetrably dark. Where the light fell, it was blinding. Someone was with him. He could hear her voice. A hand touched his cheek, so gentle he almost couldn’t feel it. It burned and ached and cooled his pain all at once. It was fire and it was ice.
How long had he been alone? How long had he been lost? He remembered the red planet, the thing that fought him in the pool of blood, then… what happened? How had he lived?
“Wh—haa… “ he gasped, trying to ask where he was and how he’d gotten there, but the words wouldn’t come.
The woman leaned into his vision, an angel’s silhouette against the blinding light of elsewhere. A white light flared around her head like a halo. She was… perfect. Her soft hand ran over his hair, pulling it from his eyes. She dabbed sweat from his brow. She smiled and he was lost in it.
“Ammm… I… d-d—“
“You’re alive,” she said, a voice like spun honey and lilting music. “You’re okay, now. I’m here. Everything’s going to be okay.”
He looked up into large, deep eyes. There was so much compassion there. So much… love? His heart was beating in syncopated rhythms that made it hard to listen. He licked his lips and found his tongue was more dry than his skin. He brought a weak hand to rub his face and she lifted his torso into her lap, cradling him to her. Their faces were close and she smiled.
He reached forward and kissed her. He gave her as much of his passion as his weary body could bring. His hand held her soft cheek. Her golden skin smelled like flowers, her hair like fruit. She tasted like strawberry. He’d almost forgotten that taste after so long in space. Now it was back, and this angel had given it to him.
He fell back from her, too tired to continue. A tear fell from her cheek and landed on his parched lips.
“I love you… so much,” she said, her voice struggling through a tightness in her throat. He nearly cried, too.
“I love you, too,” he said, because he had to. When he woke up from this perfect moment in his mind - when the pain in his body finally overwhelmed his ability to ignore reality - he hoped he could remember this. He wasn’t a praying man, but he prayed now.
Please, God… don’t let me forget this feeling.
She held him in the darkness and kissed him as much as he had the strength to allow. The pain didn’t leave, but it didn’t grow. God had heard him and was giving him a little longer with his angel. Good. After all he’d been through, he deserved it.
