Just got Thor's Mighty Chariot. Have questions and have been outta the game for a bit
So I took probably about a year or so off from playing. Some friends and I decided to play again recently. I was always the one that played the most so I have a good knowledge of the rules. Several of the rules have changed since I last played though so I have several questions about it before I play him.
1) I never actually played a duo figure before so I dont have any idea how that mechanic works.
2) Is transporter still the same? -2 to attack then full move full range?
3) I recall something about movement being lowered when carrying? Is it lowered more if carrying two?
4) His trait, the part about "may make ranged combat attacks against any opposing characters that it has a clear line of fire to." Does that just mean he can shoot someone when tied an opposing character is adjacent to him?
5) Butting Heads - Can use force blast. When he does the target is dealt knockback dmg equal to the number of squares it is knockedback in addition to any other knockback dmg. I was never a fan of Force Blast and dont really recall how it works but is this any different than regular forceblast? I could use a quick rundown on each there.
also any pointers on using him are welcome! thanks fellow realmers!
PS. viewing pdfs is a pain cause im prob gonna be viewing this on the iphone. thanks again!

Easy : You give a power action to the character. He then make two attacks - either ranged combat or close combat ones - on after the other (they are only attacks, not actions, so they cannot trigger any power) ; the damage value is modified by -1 for teh second attack only.

Almost. It is now a use of HSS modified : it cannot used if you start adjacent to an opponent (like before), it modifies attack by -2 (likle before) and it doesn't halve your range (standard HSS does that). What's different is that it is now a power action (it used to be a move action), and that any effect that prevent the use of HSS - like Kid Zoom's annoying SP - will work on the Move and Attack ability as well (ince it is now a use of HSS)

Indeed, speed value is modified by -2 when a character uses the Carry ability. But it doesn't matter how much characters iit actually cary using it : it's the fact that it's using it that counts. So it will only be -2 even with two "passengers". Also remember that you now "replace then modifiy", so if you use Charge, you first halve speed value before applying the -2 from Carrying.

Exactly. That is usually a Colossal priviliege, hence the trait. He will have to meet every other needs for the attack, thu : range, LOF, everything.

Oh yes, there's a huge difference here : Force Blast only deals knockback, and usually knockback damage is only dealt if the character hit a wall, a blocking terain or fall off a roof. Here it doesn't only deal damage that way (it does, but not only) : even if the character never cross path with a wall, he will be dealt damage - by the power itself - equal to the number of square he was knockback. It's a LOT more deadly.
Note that if the character doesn't move at all, he won't be dealt damage by the power either, thu.

I suggest you play him in a 1000 pts thematic Asgardian team, along with a few generics and some other hitters from Asgard (like the Warriors Three for example). That's where he shines the most : he has some supportive powers, like Enhancement and Defend, after all.
Good luck !
