Played with her- and you know what? Sure she is goofy and only familiar to Excalibur fans, but she is actually a good perplexer who can function well as a secondary attacker. I was pleasantly surprised!
Played her in 4 sealed matches today and she won 3 out of 4 losing only to Magneto! I pushed her for one, and she either stayed on that click and won the whole thing, or got hit for 4 and reduced to 2 or just got hit for 2 and landed her on her other Imperv click... either way, untouchable!! but Magneto is Magneto...

she is great in bigger games, she is a great tie up and her ability can crack a game wide open or turn a game around pretty fast. if you fail and dont kill the unit you have just dug your own grave ;) its fun.
I hate this character with a burning passion. It is unbelievably hard to land a good hit with Gatecrasher. Low range and crappy stats too. Hideous sculpt.
played two games with her, first she tanked horribly the 2nd she carried the game on her back. she still went down but was the only one of my team to be KOed. she is a purely situational piece. either crap or gold. ill give her another shot in a high-point game.
"Know that you stand accused of crimes against the Kree empire.. know that you have been judged and found...GUILTY!"
Could have technically made this a duo as Gatecrasher and Yap, but Yap doesn't really do anything physical, just the teleporting, so it would be a stretch. But if this WERE a duo, I imagine there would be less negative reaction. For her info, enter "Technet comics" into Wikipedia.
Gatecrasher is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated figures in modern age. She plays tie-up well with an 18-19 Impervious, she's very mobile Perplex support, and can potentially Phase up to a support piece, hit it for six damage, and clear your whole team. Her trait is pretty situation and isn't something you'll want to do in every game, but her value goes up sharply the higher points your game is. In a very large game you can fit enough support to nearly guarantee a KO, and you have more figures to clear.

Dial-in-hand says her 9 speed on click 3 should be a 7. Kind of stuck out because her speed really tanks on those non-Phasing clicks. Tricky to use with her alternating close-combat/ranged-combat powers.
My H/W link does not reflect the wants for my collection, it is a list of figures that I already have, but still "want" to play.
