Any negatives to the Thanos/Metron team. We play on only the larger maps and its usually a 4 or 5 way battle if that changes things. I can't only worry about Apoc and I guess I should have said that right away. We have had some great ideas though.

If there aren't any other Colossals on the board keep in mind that you will probably be the second target after Apocalypse gets taken out.

Just add Fortitude and alias to prime and alias to deadshot and you can easily take down these big blue monster
the best so far that i have used against Apocalpse is Superman Prime and Bullseye. A good strategy that has worked for me is pairing Bullseye (ATAed to X-Men TA) with Nightcrawler and some others with the X-Men TA to keep Bullseye healed up decent (Nightcralwer also helps if he scores a hit, he can move Apocalpse into a better place for your Close Combaters). HoT Venom ATAed to X-Men TA worked well for the healing up, cause its just hard as heck to hit that freaker when your dice are working well for you. (other X-Men good to use is Psylocke, anyone with Prob, WeB Wolverine, etc). Other good pieces are going to be those that can get off penetrating damage to him. The first to come to mind (but not the only by far) is Iron Man/Warmachine from WoS.
Apocalype is one of those really awesome Collossals, even with the proper army to face him, he can seriously eat through some stuff...always be careful and make sure you bribe your dice
