Crown Prince of Crime - Movement and being carried
Hi All,
I'm sorry to bring this up again but I'm going to be playing the CPoC this weekend and I want to get it clear in my mind - especially with the Rules Arb being back and the deputies in place.
1) Can the CPoC be carried?
As I understand it the general feeling is yes - but only because of a missing symbol in the FF rule book - If that is the case then I'm happy to play him as though he can't be carried.
2) Can the CPoC move through 1 square wide gap between two squares of blocking terrain (or a 1 square door way or even up a ladder?)
I can't really find an answer to this - Harpua seemed to think so but in then wasn't so sure. (At the end of this thread)
Thanks in advance.
Spelling? Grammar? I laugh at your bourgeois affectations.

Yes. Nothing in the rules prevents double-based characters from being carried. Larger based figures follow the same rules as per a player's guide entry.

Yes. The rule about having a wide-enough doorway is for colossals (and possibly only specific ones of those).
Am I right in saying that the new players guide has finally provided a ruling that stops CPoC from slipping into Arkham via the back door or sewer?

But the Penguin (or any "single baser" with the carry ability) could pick the CPoC up and slide him through the narrow doorway?

"When a multi-based character moves between walls and/or blocking terrain, the character’s narrowest edge must be able to fit between the two terrain features." PAGE 3 PLAYERS GUIDE CLARIFACATIONS.
I mention this becasue this weekend i'll be playing against 2 people that i know will use CPOC.
CPOC must be able to fit within the "walls and/or blocking terrain" to move correct.

There must be a hole/doorway/opening/etc at least 2 squares wide for him to move through, yes.
Keep in mind, that's just for movement. If he is placed, he doesn't have to worry about that restriction.
Just remember (tying in to the place comment above), CPOC can't walk through a doorway, but he can be picked up and carried through a doorway, because carrying is placing, and there's nothing stopping a multi-base figure from being carried.
