Quick question: the feat says that if an object is not used as part of a close combat attack, an attack roll of 11 or 12 is a critical hit. Now it sounds like this will work with a ranged attack roll...will it?

AND STAY DOWN
Cost: 6
Prerequisite: Exploit Weakness or Super Strength
Choose a character. When the character is not using an object as part of a close combat attack, an attack roll result of 11 or 12 is a critical hit.
If you aren't making a close combat attack in he first place, you wouldn't even bother checking the conditions of the feat. So, no, it does not work with ranged combat.

The text of the card is specific: "When the character is not using an object as part of a close combat attack..."
A ranged attack would not be "using an object as part of a close combat attack," which would mean the requirements of the Feat are met.
To match the apparent intent, it would need to read something like: "During a close combat attack where the character is not using an object..."
