A low overall AV hurts, so pair him with Johann for PC. Surprisingly mobile, you need to play him wisely - his first click is a nice 'range' click, but make sure that he's in close when you push or are knocked off it. Six clicks of 16 or above are quite good for the cost. Too bad 'Siphon Power' is so bad/expensive/limited - if ever a wildcard thematically called for this feat...
Roger could have willpower and steal energy. Without it he is still entirely accurate and playable though.
Roger has an odd dial that depsite his 110pt cost is made much much better by armor piercing. HIs opening EE and flurry with 2 damage go from blah to amazing with AP and so does hi quake. Of course if you send him against a swarm of lower point figs he's perfect just the way he is.
It's odd from a comic standpoint that Roger needs Armor Piercing to really shine, but when you put it on him, he really does shine. Maybe use some Perplex on his AV, and he's all good to go.
Poor Roger needs a remake too, with a Steal Energy special power. I'm not sure why his powers are so varied, though. He should probably have basic Super Strength and damage reducers throughout, maybe with Defend. I don't recall that he ever did anything like Quake or Flurry.

I like Roger. The Running Shot gives him the option to hit enemy pieces at range, with some mobility, before settling down to hit them at melee. A huge pot of Wildcard options too.
