Since it was implicitly stated in the nomination thread that groups of guitarists are totally acceptable in this competition I certainly won't hold that against anyone. And in fact I am actually more impressed when a group of musicians create something together, that back and forth and give and take seems much more difficult than one guy wailing away.

That said this particular match is a really tough one, Black Dog is terrific and Jimmy Page has so much power, My Guitar... is gentle and delicate but unfortunately has Eric Clapton and I can't stand the guy. But this time at least, and largely because of the man whose wife he stole, I have to go with stupid turtle face.

Another tough matchup but I'm going with... WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS. Love me some Zep but again I agree with wintremute that the guitar work by Clapton is spot on.

Black Dod was one of the first songs that turned me on to how cool a song can be written and with such a great riff. throughout.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps is a great song and were this a song Vs song competition, I'd vote it in, but Page wins the guitar duel for me on this one.
