Going to give this to the late Steve Clark and Switch 625.
I like AC/DC, but I like them as the complete package. No single element is great, but it all works together to occasionally make something really good.
And as an aside, the 12th link down the side of that Japanese girl is interesting. She does some pretty amazing stuff, especially since I think she was only 12 or so when she posted most of her songs.
Go watch her do YYZ on that thing.
I'll vote for Steve Clark.

Wow, what a blast from the past. When I was first starting to play Bass, Switch 625 is the song that Bringing On The Heartbreak segued into, and one of the first songs I learned to play by ear. It was great hearing that again.
HOWEVA...the guitarists in Def Leppard never struck me as anything more than great songrwriters. And head-to-head in the songwriting department, I'll take Malcolm every day of the week. But we're looking at the guitarists here, and Angus is one of the most exciting players to every strap on a guitar. I think he's really under-appreciated as a lead guitarist, and his sound is always great. Angus just brings too much energy to this song, that Leppard can't keep up.
