Although Cap has appeared in the Tbolts before leading the Faux bolts(Redeemers) before they were wiped out by Graviton

Parker's run brought me back to the Thunderbolts, and I've liked the recent introduction of Hyde and Centurius to the team. But Cap and Namor? I thought Hawkeye and Luke Cage (whom I normally loathe) made sense as leaders for the Thunderbolts, but not Cap. Parker frequently provides change-ups like these through his run, but this one, I dunno.

True enough, but that's changed quite a bit over the last few years to make the T-Bolts more of a Suicide Squad rip-off then it ever was. Adding Fred Myers just makes it that much more of a copy.
Agreed. The "Suicide Squad" formula is a good one, and the idea for a team of bad guys working for the government was born from the 1967 Robert Aldrich movie, "The Dirty Dozen." If anyone reading this post hasn't seen that movie, I implore you to find it and watch it, even if you have to download it. It's one of the best war movies I've ever seen (along with "Twelve O'Clock High"), and it's essentially about Lee Marvin's character collecting a dozen soldiers who have been sentenced for life for military offenses, etc., and how he turns them into a formitable unit for a pre-invasive strike. Just like the Suicide Squad, not everyone makes it out alive. It's a movie that really stands the test of time, as I've only seen it within the last six months.

Poor Kojak. What a way to die. Then again, he deserved it.
