Would pulse wave still activate the ATA or would it be basically non-existent?

I'm just gonna throw out a guess before a deputy comes and claims this one... I'm gonna say that the actual being KO'd isn't part of the pulse wave process, that would happen after the attack. So the team ability would still take effect since it happens after the pulse wave.
