Doomfact #441 Doom calls Namor "Aquaman" and pretends he's done it accidently. Doomfact #66 Doom eats an inordinate amount of seafood because he's under the impression that he's killing Namor's friends. Doomfact #19 Namor has no idea why he gets 40-200 copies of "The Little Mermaid" in the mail every month. It is because Doom can find anyones' P.O. Box number. Doomfact #2 Doom gave Namor an inflatable fish for his birthday and told him to f$&* it.
Ridiculously awesome. Charge, Flurry, Super Strength combo is brutal. With the help of Doc Strange and Prof X, Namor, in my last 1000 point game, 1-shotted these people in this order: Dr. Strange, old school Battlesuit Luthor, Red Hulk and Danger... freaking BEAST!
Playability must be a 5. When played friendly-like, Namor's certainly worth his points. Played with a TKer and either a PCer or Perplexer, he's suddenly this nigh-unstoppable missile that wreaks havoc on anything in his path, stopped only by the Dice Gods themselves, a team built to neuter him, or Cosmic Spider Man (the only figure more broken). I've grown tired of seeing Namors with TKers and Cap for support fire through everything. I'll never play one, nor will I ever own one. Simple as that. I still gave accurate ratings though.
Amazing figure, yes, BUT one good shot of Outwit neuters his playability nicely. Being on a map without water, or having your Opened Hydrant destroyed, handles the rest.
Although I have had fun recently dropping an Opened Hydrant in the middle of the Bridge Map and letting Namor go to town alongside other Defenders. :)
Want this guy even more dangerous than he already is? Team him up with Mr. Fantastic, give him the old school lamp post and watch him go to town. Perplex damage by 2 with Mr. Fantastic (6 damage), hit someone with the item on first flurry (6 damage and a token), hit the second attack (6 more damage) then pick the lamp post up as a free action and repeat next turn. People say he's under cost, probably, but he's the same price as his other figures, but is and always was Marvel's first "Superman" level character. First Mutant for a reason.
1 lamp post is destroyed after use it cannot be reused endless you have multiple lamp posts. and i would take the pop machine + two damage and hit for 7
but he is a beast on his own

Pair him with DC Atlanteans. tk him in with mera and rip apart their team. Then, when he finally goes down, with Aquaman on the board anyone who hit him that turn takes 2 damage.
If you think Namor is terrifying, consider a moment how much more terrifying he becomes with the Crimson Gem. Yeah, just think about it a moment. Smell that? You should change your pants.
I'd say he has normal leadership. BUT, when he rolls 4-6 it activates the atlantis deal, and if its a 4 its only the atlantis deal and not the token removal.
Crushingly awesome. I'd actually had fairly bad luck with him simply because my opponents immediately try to target him hard and fast, and you can't simply let 150 points of close combat power hang back turn after turn.
