Amazing and creepy sculpt...and the type of scary self-sufficiency we have come to expect from the Zombies. Great support for an all zombie team!

That is one nice sculpt. As to the question of why he's shiny, you would be too if you were covered in the entrails of your victims! Yarr!

Anyway, Giant-Man is fantastic. His AV may not rise over 9, but he does have Perplex sometimes and Outwit at other times. Speaking of which, Zombie Hank is one of the few Giants to make good use of his Giant status - it means he can Perplex or Outwit whoever he damn well pleases!

I would give Giant-Man straight 5s, but until they fix the counterintuitive and unnecessarily inhibitive Giant rules, I cannot. I await that day!

Love the sculpt and most of the dial. The first click of Flurry/Steal Energy is a one click pony. It makes much more sense later on. If not for the currently daft Giant rules, he'd be awesome.

He is actually a little tougher then I expected.

Slow moving, no range, little damage reducing.....for almost 100 points id like something that didnt get knocked to 1-2 damage from one shot from a RCE char or running shot heavy ranger.

with the ridiculous amount of perplex/high AV/prob, his defense is not that hard to get to with most.

Hank Pym is an enigma both in comics and in Heroclix. In comes we have Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Goliath, Yellowjacket, Dr. Pym and now, the Wasp?. It's hard to keep up with this dude...

In Heroclix the challenge is no different, really. I love the Ant-Man Aw sculpt and he's certainly useful (the IC version is also), Skrullojacket is pretty great, too but if I had to pick the best playing piece...it's gotta be this one. While the giant ability, perplex & outwit, the 18 dv...these all work well for the guy. Personally when I've played him, it's that steal energy that you just don't expect. Half of his dial he can heal up. What a frustrating figure for your opponent!. Try to keep him on that 1st have of his dial, though...

A Giant with outwit and perplex is great. No characters block his line of fire. He sees over everyone on the battle field... Oh you were going to hide behind that guy with stealth. Well Giant Man sees over you and outwits your defense then charges in with a Heavy for 5. A must play on zombie/monster theme teams.

believe it or not, i beat green scar with ol' hank. one of the most respected figures in my circle. maybe my fav giant....

This guy IMHO is the deadliest of the zombies despite his high cost. Giant status helps his plethora of support powers and combined with Steal Energy means you can bounce back and forth between the powers just by attacking.

He doesn't have the Avengers keyword, but he's the Giant-Man I reach for when putting together Avengers theme teams. The Flurry+Steal Energy combo is awesome, and adding Brilliant Tactician allows "Zombie Hank" to Perplex Iron Man (Scientist keyword) or Hulk (Monster keyword).

Stats are far too low for any effectiveness. Here are his average combat values: Attack-8 Defense-15 Damage-1.5

Correct. He doesn't do much good on his own. Use him with other Scientists on a theme team and Perplex those values; SI Mr. Fantastic helps a lot. Grab a Tombstone while you're at it. Now, not only do you have an outwitter that can see over everyone, but a formidable attacker as well.

First guy who came to mind when I saw the new Prof X, tobad he is out of Modern Age.

this is doppelganger's bestest monster friend. outwit any and all defenses with his giant height, and just keep taking actions to let doppelganger to meatgrind people.
