When building a team for a sanctioned event, when it comes to the gravity feed figures that have 2 dial options are you a) commited to choosing a or b for the whole event, and b) if not, what is the timing procedure for choosing each game? Can you go, "oh, you're playing Batman Allies, so I choose Howling Commando side b"? Do you have to choose before opponent reveals his force maybe? And what if both people have multi-dial figures? Who chooses first, or is it simultaneous?
I know Shazam/Black Adam was the first figure with two in one dials, but with the more common grunts in the Cap Grav Feed, if we build with them on our team, can we change the start line on the figures between games?
I think it was ruled that way with Shazam/Black Adam?

The GF guys have different Collector's numbers, similar to the Secret Invasion Skrull, non-Skrull guys.
Basically, no. They work similar to the latter, not the former.

The only real difference between the SI a and b characters and these new a and b characters in the Cap Gravity feed is that these new dials are short enough to be placed together on the same sticker.

You design your force with one of these characters and you must choose which one you are using. If you use both, it's because you have 2 characters.
Shaz-adam is not a precedent because it has a trait that specifies that you are allowed to choose at the start of each game.

Both Howling Commandos are #201, but one is 201a and the other is 201b. Two different characters.
There you go.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
For some reason, I couldn't link to the thread, so I had to multi-quote all the posts, copy and them paste them. What a pain in the keister
You don't need to copy and paste actually. Just use the multiquote button, go to the thread you want the quotes in, then press "quote these posts as well" below the text window.
