Uli Jon Roth ftw!

I love Temptation, I have listened to it hundreds of times and I always just assumed that part was keyboards, it just blew my mind to realize that it was guitar. I think that makes it even more awesome, because I always thought that part was one of the coolest riffs in music.

Roth did impress, but I feel like Sumner's greatest danger here is the potential to be overshadowed by Peter Hook's outstanding work on bass. I'm going to vote for Bernard Sumner and link to this live version of the song that features Barney in some truly legendary shorts.

I now I find that I have to link this related clip, which features an astonishingly good bit of drumming by Stephen Morris. If we ever do a Drum Wars, you can bet that New Order will be making at least one appearance.
