Nothing on his trait said you couldn't heal him back to the 'ice age'. Is this legal? If it is that's awesome. Well, awesome for those who pulled it. THAWING FROM THE ICE: Captain America begins the game with the Ice Sheath attached. As long as the Ice Sheath is attached, Captain America can't be moved, placed, targeted, assigned an action, or damaged and at the begining of your turn, turn this dial once to the right. As long as the Ice Sheath is attached, any opposing characters occupuing an adjacent square may be given a power action to turn the dial once to the left. When Click #5 is revealed, remove the Ice Sheath. At the beginning of your turn, if you control no other friendly characters, click captain America to click #5 and remove the Ice Sheath.
Boy, I sure have pissed off a lot of people lately on the interwebs. Sorry to all.
What about calling them "Papillomas?"
I don't think so because his starting click for damage purposes is his first click out of the ice, similar to the orange line of AE figure.
If you start with the figure at the green starting line, shouldn't you be able to heal it to that point? Obviously, you can't heal when he's in ice but say you have BN Atom and heal him on his first click putting him back in ice while the rest of your team picks everyone off for three or four turns and then you have a full power Cap down the line? That reeks of awesomeness.

I don't see how having Cap in ice where your understrength team is fighting the opponent's full team is an any way a good thing.
I'm sad that Weapon X doesn't have the X-men keyword I understand the reason he doesn't have it but it would have been FUNNY AS HELL to play that figure with Charles Xavier from GSX

I think the idea described by Crusherhogan is not the best way to get use out of that, but there would be potential benefits. For example: Cap is the only figure your opponent can draw a line of fire to. Your support guy behind cap heals him to final countdown click. Your opponent can no longer shoot cap on his turn, and then on your turn he breaks out again at full strength.
Situational, but it would have its potential uses.
That said, a clarification/errata in the pg would not be unexpected.
