Eh, this is why I still think that Team Abilities should grant the same keyword.
I know, I know, this means you could have a theme team with Namor and Major Victory, but it would solve at least some of the "random" keyword problems.
This would also allow pieces like Norman Osborne to be on a theme team with generic SHIELD Agents, which would actually be a good thing, since HAMMER was composed of SHIELD Agents mostly, right?
And in most cases, a character with a particular Team Ability SHOULD have that Team Ability as a keyword.
I just wouldn't be offended if HOT Jimmy Woo got the SHIELD keyword just by virtue of having the SHIELD TA. It seems silly that he has the TA, and not the keyword, and there are many other examples of that.

This would be a careless lazy fix (which wouldn't be a fix at all) for a careless lazy problem.
Well, the problem exists, that's for sure.
I think this would be a fix to a lot of the major problems, such as Justice League keywords.
There are shared team abilities, but not many of them.
Giving Alpha Flight members the Avengers keyword because they have the Avengers team ability is not really a stretch, not at all.
The same for most of the shared team abilities. Power Pack, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thunderbolts (the Avenger TA ones), Alpha Flight, Doom Patrol, Invaders, Badoon, Squadron Supreme, and SHIELD.
I think this would actually make the game better, and allow you to quickly construct named theme teams without having to consult the cards or the Units section.
Ah, everyone in my Batman Ally bag now has Batman Ally has a keyword! Perfect!
Stuff like this would also allow Bane and Ras al Ghul to be on a named theme team together, which, as far as I know is currently impossible.
Actually, I just checked. You can make a Gotham City theme team using Batman: Alpha Ras al Ghul, and Exp or Vet Hypertime Bane. Double sad face.

I've never really bothered with keywords since they seem like such a mess - but more and more SPs are keyword-specific. Don't like this trend. . .

I know I know... If we still had BY'd List I waould say Highly Rumored and should be a lock in the set (of course I also though that American Dream was a lock in Cap and Hobgoblin was a lock in WOS)
I will be mightily annoyed if the Daughter makes it in and not the MILF

There wouldn't be a problem with the Justice League if WizKids could keep the teams they set up straight. The problem is, the were horrible about putting characters on the correct team divisions for how they split them up.

There are enough of them, and they should be separate teams. Heck it annoys me that the Sinister Six (Seven & Twelve) are lumped in with the Sinister Syndicate, when those teams don't have much if any cross over at all. They're just all Spider-Man villains.

How often have they fought on the same team together? It'd make more sense if Alpha Flight were lumped in with the X-Men not the Avengers.

I disagree completely. This is exactly what I meant by a lazy solution. If that's the way you want to play it at home, you can, don't lobby to ruin the game for the rest of us.

Because 90% of them having Gotham City as a named keyword isn't working for you?

And they were on the same team when? Granted, once the Dark Knight Rises comes out, this might make sense, but not really now.
I'd honestly like Theme Teams to truly be theme teams. However Keywords have been so poorly executed that you can seldom build teams that should actually be teams, and get far to many bonuses for teams that have people on them that have no business being together. You're solution would accentuate the problem, not fix it.
Trades: WITH WoL H/W, also looking for Mandarin Rings, DoFP Rares & Nimrod

Twice
The most prominent being during the Bane of the Demon mini Bane became the new UBU. Although not officaly part of the League it is enough for a team with him Ra's,Talia and League Generics

Pure speculation at this point - but I would be very surprised if they didn't give us more Lady Liberators in the Hulk set. Modok and Scientist Supreme in Cap points to some more AIM (and they fit the theme).
There are few people that would beg to differ with you...or at least that are still waiting in line.....
Exodus (Acolytes) Whizzer: Bob Frank (All Winners Squad)
GoGo Tomago (Big Hero 6) - not very Big with only 2 members
Bruto the Strong Man (Circus of Crime)
Celestial Archer (Great Ten) - still 6 short of ten
Martinex (Guardians of the Galaxy)
Golden Girl (Kid Commandos) - Toro is currently the only one
Warstar (Sh'iar) Queen Clea (Villany Inc)
Kid Colt (Young Allies)
"A Jester unemployed is nobody's fool." - The Court Jester "And so he says, I don't like the cut of your jib, and I go, I says it's the only jib I got, baby!
Well with exception of Exodus you are mostly talking about either very obscure groups or ones that have been defeucnt for over 10 years or in the case of the Imperial Guard that although the group is known not so much the members. While AIM is very much alive...although the examples arent good as they stood for Modok's 11 more than AIM
