Power Absorption: Once during your turn, you may give Rogue a free action and choose an adjacent character and a standard power (other than Outwit or Perplex) that they can use. Until your next turn, Rogue may use the chosen standard power. If Rogue has no action tokens or the chosen character is friendly, deal 1 unavoidable damage to the chosen character.
First, I want to apologize if that has already been asked.
The answer might seems obvious, but I still want to make sure, because it's pretty sneaky and evil.
Here's the situation : my opponent is playing a theme team and he still have some uses of Probability Control left. Rogue is adjacent to one of his character that has less than 2 action tokens and that doesn't possess (nor can he use) Probability Control on his own. It's the beginning of my turn.
And now the question :
Can I use Rogue's trait to "borrow" Probability Control from the opposing character ?
I think it should work, because that character meets all the prerequesite to use a theme team PC (he still can be assigned a token, he hasn't perform any non-free action that turn, he cannot use PC on his own and there are still uses of theme PC available). So technically he is able to use PC (from the theme team bonus, but still).
But as I said above, this is sneaky and I'd rather be sure before I try that move during a game.
Can I do that ?
