In that case there would be no range limitation. There are special powers that do specify both range and line of fire. Since this only covers LoF, it could cover the entire map under the right circumstances.

It's not my piece (wish I could afford to spend 120bones on a huge piece that I'd use once in a blue moon). I do know I've played teams a bunch and thank god I've been paired on the team with the guy running the S.C.A.M. Monitor because I have to field a crapload of little dudes in high point games and it would be all but pointless to even try to fight that thing with my stuff as once I get action tokens he will just obliterate my stuff.
