Turn 10a:

Descriptive Post:
The alien warriors swarmed all over the corps members. They fought with a ferocity that John and Kat could not match. John's marine training provided him with a jujitsu moves that threw his opponent to the floor, but his construct to pin his opponent there missed as the willy alien rolled out of the way.

Katma was having a harder time, the stairs made for a tricky environment to fight and several times she had to fight for balance on the slipery steps that were made for smaller feet.

Guy was having the time of his life. "Come on you bunch of loosers! Surely you can do better than this! Let's see some life out of you!" He formed a giant fist with nasty spikes on it. 'Haaaaghghg!" When he swung it full force at the alien in front of him it abrubtly and unnaturally stopped just after before contact with the alien.

A computerlike voice rang out, "Terminal force attack. This is a violation of directive 2. The Green Lantern Corps does not kill. You have earned a demerit Lantern Gardner. Report to OA for diciplinary action."

Guy snarled, "I'll give you diciplinary action!" Guy then used his foot to snap kick into Salox's groin. The blow hurt the alien, but not every spiecies keeps their reporductive apparatus in the same location.

Story:
Something had broken Telepathic command with her Minions. Tasqre watched as her Minions acted on their own. Trudoq continued with his sonics, still confusing the lantern in front of him, and then slamming her with his clawed hand. Salox ran next to Trudoq will to sacrafice himself it needed, that was the way of their kind.
Crompt moved forward and placed himself in a good vantage point of the battleground.

Aliens Turn 11B:

You had Katma on the wrong number of clicks. She only had 2 left. On 10B she had only 2 left. Plus since you copied the wrong one you gave yourself less experience too. I fixed it for you.

Story:
Tasqre was done with waiting for her drones to take these Lanterns down. She wanted a taste of Lantern energy for herself. She extended an appendage, which turned into a glowing whip. She whipped it towards Katma Tui, and it looped around her body entangling her. Then, bolts of electricity shot through it and Katma dropped to the ground unconscious. Gugt, swung his clawed and hand struck John Steward, in the face. Cromt moved in to finish off the final 2 Lanterns.

Story:
After finishing off the human female, Trudoq hears the Queens voice in his head. Move forward and take down the last 2. Trudoq moves up the steps and sees both targets. He focuses on the Orange haired human and directs his sonic towards him. The sound is deafining, and he cannot focus, his green aura begins to dim.
At that very moment Compt attacks and strikes him with a claw hitting him under the chin. The blow knocks the orange haired one to the ground unconscious. Tasqre gets into John Stewards, head "It's only a matter of time until you are my slaves, why fight, when you know you have lost"

End Post:

The aliens moved in close over the bodies of the Green Lanterns who, having been taken by surprise, were completely unprepared for the ferocity of their attack.

“Gather them,” the largest of them said. “We could use their meats for—“

“Are you kidding me?” a voice said from above. With a sweep, Jade sent a construct of a green hand across the balcony and caught up most of the aliens in a fist. “You guys take one little vacation and you get totally soft!”

“Just letting them get close,” Katma said, raising her ringed fist and blasting the leader now that most of his henchbeings were moved aside and couldn’t defend him.

“Yeah, sure,” she rolled her eyes, squeezing the aliens in a vice until they stopped struggling and relented. “Reeeally convincing, Kat.”

“I don’t have to convince anybody. I know what I was doing.”

“Uh huh. That’s why you’re getting all attitudinal now, huh?”

“I am not. This was our plan. Tell her, John.”

“Kat, I…”

“Oh, sure, bring your boyfriend into it. Like he’s gonna contradict you.”

“Hold on, you two – where’d Gardner go?” John stopped them, looking around. As the two women had been busy wrapping up the aliens and corralling them into a large force-cage, none of the three had noticed Guy Gardner leave.

“What is going on today?” Katma rubbed her head. She suddenly stopped, her ring sending a message through her. The other two stopped what they were doing as well, and all three shared a look.

“Priority 1 recall,” John said.

“So, we return to Oa, like, immediately, right?” Jade asked.

“We do,” Katma sighed. “I’m sorry, John.”

“Me too, Kat, but what can we do? We’re Lanterns. It’s all we’re really good at anymore.”

They shared a smile and Jade smiled to watch them.

“Come on, you two – you’ll get another night out,” she laughed. “Let’s bring these guys back and lock ‘em in the sciencells until they figure out what they are and what they want.”

After handing the aliens off to the warden at the sciencells, the trio walked the halls back to the Office of the Honor Guard in the central citadel of Oa.

“For a priority 1 recall, this place is surprisingly calm,” John said.

“I’m getting the feeling we’re the only ones to get the call,” Katma said back. “I have no idea what’s going on here.”

They stepped through the doors of the offices that were part meeting center, part lounge, part headquarters. Not two steps in, they stopped in their tracks, mouths open in surprise.

“Close the door,” Ganthet said. “We must talk.”

The Guardian stood calmly at the center of the room – actually, he hovered a couple feet off the ground, his feet never touching the floor. Around him stood Tomar Tu and G’nort, both looking as surprised as the three of them were, and Guy Gardner looking smug and arrogant as ever.

“Ganthet?” Katma said in confusion.

“Gardner?” John said, focused more on the red-headed human than the Guardian. “What’s he doing here?”

“Reporting for duty, chumps and chumpettes,” Guy smirked, pointing both his thumbs at himself. “This guy’s been bumped up to Honor Guard status.”

“Are you… kidding me…?” Jade started, but she suddenly felt faint and quickly sat, holding her head.

“Jenn! Are you alright?” Katma asked, rushing to her.

“I-I think so—but something huge just happened… on Earth, I think. I felt a massive surge of power. It was being drawn from the source, uh, the place… it’s like, where my power comes from. I’m saying somebody’s drawing power from the green light the same way I do.”

“Another Starheart?” John asked, confused.

“Impossible,” Ganthet said. “Jennifer is unique. Well… in the green at least. There are others, but none like her. What she just felt was young Rayner, the torchbearer. He reopened the channel.”

“What are you talking about?” Katma asked. “Why are you here? What is going on?”

“If you will relax, Lantern Tui, I am here to tell you everything. There is a great darkness coming, a potential crisis of universally apocalyptic proportions. We caused this, my fellow Guardians and I. Unlike them, I am taking actions to prevent it. The old ways have failed, and we must find a new path or perish and allow all life to perish with us.

“I am here to tell you my story. Sit and listen and I will do my best to help you understand how we got here and what happens next…”
