1. PP wants to do more Monpoc after DMZ, but has no definite plans. To me, that means they are waiting to see how well DMZ sells before trying a "DMZ" for series 4 & 5.
2. PP has a plan for distributing quantums but hasn't announced it yet.
3. The three demo tables at PP's booth were completely empty more often then completely filled.
4. Team Covenant did a podcast with Will Schick but he seems to have just talked without saying anything useful.

The TC video was just DC talking about waiting, waiting, and more waiting. It seemed like the same Gencon video of last year.
Well, I saw people playing the game, but there was no sign of it in their booth in the Dealer's Hall. You could buy Monsterpocalypse at the con, and could buy it very very cheap, but you couldn't buy any from Privateer Press. I don't see this as good sign.
Single Monster tourney was Thursday, Double Monster was Friday. Top four from each day moved on to the Championship on Saturday. Top 3 Thurs/Fri got Quantum figures, I believe top 6 on Saturday got Quantums? I know the two guys from our LGS got 1st/4th in double monster.
The new player games that were run were awarding a Mega Yasheth to the participants. I noticed it didn't take long for them to reach eBay, so if you need one, you can find one cheaper than normal.

So, yeah, no news.

Three have made it to ebay since Gen Con. One sold for $40. Two are available for a minimum bid of $50 (one is a relist that did not sell for $50 the first time). Still very high prices for a game that hasn't had a new release in over a year and for which there are no definite plans for the future.
Mega Yasheth will probably always carry a high price due to the limit number originally released, and it being such a good piece.
Definitely would love to hear some news (like everyone else), but we just keep playing and having fun with it here in Chicago. I realize not everyone has been lucky to keep the game going in their area, which is a shame. This is such a great game, and has a really great community. Hopefully Privateer finds away to pump some life into it, and give it that jolt everyone is looking for.
