A far, far better version of this character than either of the two before it. The outwit/steal power option is a great way to illustrate Parasite's power, and has no downside (unlike the awful Justice League version).
Finally, they are getting the idea of what "power drain" mechanic should be like. I suggested this type of thing but it seems to fall on deaf ears. The range mechanic for parasite is what it should be for GSX Rogue!
Ok, first I want to say; this is one I have been waiting for, a playable Parasite - I actually use the last one on Superman Enemy teams from time to time, so this is seriously beyond great.
... but; comic-wise I would have liked his Outwit to only work vs. adjacent figures. While that limits him somewhat, it could have been offset by giving him a full dial of Plasticity (which makes sense for many reasons) and allow him to copy not just range, but also all combat symbols (except Duo Attack and Colossus) - that way he could copy say Super Strength and use his charge/Plasticity to go grab an object and smash their face. Or take Psychic Blast and their sharpshooter and shoot them in the face, or running shot and range value and again use the hypothetical plasticity to go after someone else, or Quake and their Giant ability to just stomp EVERYBODY! It would have both limited him (in needing adjacency to use the power) and made him more fun and versatile.
I wish it had been like that but again I want to say I am SO VERY HAPPY to have a playable Parasite instead just points for my opponent. I really do love it!
I foresee stealing lots of Impervious, Flurry and Regen in the near future...
"Come on Hulk! Where's the old boasting? The battle cries? Why aren't you bellowing about how you're 'the strongest one there is'? Could it be because... you know it's not true?"
"No. Because it's just too obvious."
-Juggernaut to Hulk
A fantastic piece! Because of his powers and dial length, he is not shabby in combat but it's the special power where this guy shines brightly! "Oh, Hi Lobo! I see you have Prob there, let me just nab that from you!" Really fun to play and one of this sets best!
I love this click! But I have question. Is his sp stackable? As in, can I outwit impervious use it and then use parasites toughness
No, the rules for damage reduction simply has you using the best one, not both. It became a rule in the rulebook the last time around so they would not have to even worry about that possibility on this or any future figures.
don't be afraid to push this beast as he tends to stick around for long periods of time with steal energy, and coupled with his ability to steal powers while preventing the oposition from using them is deadly. Finally, a parasite that is worth playing.
So if Parasite Outwits an opponent's Impervious and gains that defensive power. The opponent is damaged in a subsequent attack and loses Impervious. Does Parasite still have Impervious?

Yes, until the beginning of your next turn - besides once you've outwitted it they no longer have it.
