I can't help thinking Arkillo just works better for him. When he has battle fury and you wanna use a red lantern, well he has blades so theres no point. His AVs get silly as a bunch of 9s for the most of the dial. This makes a good Rookie, but use Arkillo as an E. Neat Sculpt though.
This dial only works with Caiera and even hasn't any non-generic keyword in common with her. Except for that there is no reason to spend more than 100 points in such a bad figure
Dunno how 'comic accurate' his numbers are, he does seem incredibly powerful and durable in the comic, but the dial isn't bad. For about 100 points, his attack numbers and damage output are pretty good, but he's hindered by a low, low defense. But, keep him by his mom, or another good piece with some opening Defend, and keep him in hindering, and you've got an 18 Defense piece with Imperv or Invuln across the entire dial. Not too shabby.
The Inhuman of Team Vegas,
Black Bolt of the Vegas Illuminati
I just cant see wasting the points on a clix with such a low defense. I'd take Lyra over this guy every time. 4 clixs of prob then perplex. Hopefully, thier is another version of him in the set? :disappointed:
I agree that for 104 points he should have a higher defence, but he is definately meant to be paired with Caiera. The two together are deadly, with caiera giving skaar an 18 def and both of their attack values up.
Played him without his mom against a team with Deadshot. In no time at all Skaar was KO'd. 16 def is NOT OKAY. I will give him one more chance now that I have Caiera, so I'll see how that does.
Personally, I think that if the dial was backwards from what it is currently, it'd be a significant improvement. Wouldn't fix everything, but it'd be better. At least with the attack powers and values, the Defense values, and the damage values and powers.
