Again, it's not a big deal since it didn't create an unbalanced effect. However, I do feel that it made the role not work the way it was intended.

Are reverse trackers bad for a mafia to have? I've found that they are useful mafia power, whereas something like a mafia tracker would be almost useless. Legitimately wondering here since I often give mafia members a reverse tracker.

I'm saying that it WAS intended to work that way.

Way back, we found that mafias with reverse trackers were broken. All they had to do was make a townie claim, then reverse track them to find all the town protectors and such. Eliminate those players and then kill the key townies unhindered.

mafia trackers are not nearly as useless as you'd think. I've seen them play key roles in ferreting out townie power sets. Meaning if they target an outed townie, they're a beneficial role, and vice versa. It also is a good role for a fake claim as the town will favor players who can share helpful info.

As for the reverse tracker, I knew thought about that aspect of it. But I don't think that's broken. It's about as broken as a power copier who can copy a night hit and essentially cop a member of the mafia.

Out of curiosity, had this hitman claimed RB or another non-info gathering role that would have been unable to prove a lie, what would have happened? Just because the person used a power on a player who ended up dead doesn't mean the power was a kill.

Often times, townies (myself included) think too narrowly. If you can weave enough truth into your lies and give them enough to make them question their reasoning, they tend to back off and just wait for more info. Most people aren't willing to take too many aggressive risks as town.

Also consider that the chances of the power copier finding the hitman on N1 is about 4%, I wouldn't claim the power is broken.

And I freely admit that I go down in mafia history as the suckiest co-mod ever. Yes, there were extenuating circumstances but I still feel I let down the game. My sincere apologies on that note...
