THAWING FROM THE ICE: Captain America begins the game with the Ice Sheath attached. As long as the Ice Sheath is attached, Captain America can't be moved, placed, targeted, assigned an action, or damaged and at the begining of your turn, turn this dial once to the right. As long as the Ice Sheath is attached, any opposing characters occupuing an adjacent square may be given a power action to turn the dial once to the left. When Click #5 is revealed, remove the Ice Sheath. At the beginning of your turn, if you control no other friendly characters, click captain America to click #5 and remove the Ice Sheath.

ok so here are the questions,
#1 if i was using all 3 when i take the flash off the map would cap, and weap-x break out at the begining of my next turn. it says they break out on your next turn if you don't control any characters and flash is placed at the begining of your turn, active player chooses order correct?
#2 does flash get ko'ed if he goes off the board with cap and weap-x still in there tubes/ice?
#3 if flash does get ko'ed in #2 then do cap and weap-x break out after hes dies?

The answer to each of these questions is that a figure is controlled even when it is "in the tank" "in the ice" or off the board.
If all of your team are KOd except for Iced-Cap and Bottled-verine, Iced-Cap won't break out because you still control Wolverine. Wolverine won't break out because you still control Iced-Cap.
If you have only Iced-Cap and Flash and you remove Flash from the board, you still control another figure, so Iced-Cap does not break out. If you don't return Flash to the board at the start of your next turn (it says "may", so you don't have to), you still won't automatically break Iced-Cap out, as even though Flash is off the board and now has no way to ever come back to the board, he is still controlled, so Iced-Cap is never cracked out.
ok, so it looks like if you have Flash and Ice Cap or Weapon X, you may remove Flash off the board and never return him until time runs out? Wow, that kinda sux.

nvm... the figs would eventually come out and can be attacked.
