Tried looking for it and didn't see any threads discussing this so... If you throw the Green Kryptonite in a ranged combat attack against a Kryptonian keyworded or Superman Ally TA figure, will the damage not get reduced below one? Attacker is outside the 4 square area of the Green Kryptonite's effect.

If you use an object in a ranged attack, the object will stay with the attacker and he would be subject to the modifiers. Once the attack roll is made the object is then removed, it is never in the square of the Target.

Throwing the object doesn't actually mean that the object moves to the square. It just allows you to make a ranged combat attack.
