We will be running an event alongside Board Games Extra's Games Day at St. Denys Community Centre, Southampton.

The location is just a couple of minutes from the main line train station and also has plenty of parking. (And is less than an Hour and a half on the train
from London)

We'd like to run a sealed event - but as we need to ensure that we have enough boosters available so I'm going to confirm the format once we have a better idea of who's coming.

Space at the main event will be limited so reserve you place as early as possible.

Format:
Four Rounds

Rounds 1 & 2
400 Point Sealed from Superman set - No changes allowed to the team between
rounds.

Rounds 3 & 4
400 Point Constructed - (Modern Age - All Figures/3D objects must come from Superman)

Cost: £5 Entry fee and 2 Superman Boosters at £7.50 each.

There will be a door prize for everyone as well as prizes for 1st, 2nd and
Fellowship.

Hi All,

I've been asked a couple of questions about the day.

Q. Are the Superman LE figures & Kryptonite legal for the two constructed rounds?
A. Yes

Q. What maps are allowed?
A. As long as they are 2'x3' and have the terrain clearly colour coded then any map from Wizkids, Mighty Maps or GridReality will be allowed. I will bring enough maps for everyone but if you really want to play on "The Prison Camp" or Krakoa then bring it with you and make sure you win the roll for map choice.

Q. How long will each round be?
A. Each round will be 38 + 2d6 minutes
But my experience with Superman says they will be shorter than that

Q. If there are an odd number of players what happens if I get the Bye?
A. The player getting the bye for the first round will be decided on a dice roll and after that will be the player with the lowest number of wins/points) A single player can only get the bye once.

At the end of the round the bye player will be awarded a win and points equal to the lowest winners points that round - 10.

Just a quick update.

Thanks to all that came - We had 15 players from 3 different groups (4 if Littlehampton and Brighton are separate groups).

In the end it came down to Ed (Queen of Fables, Cyborg Superman and Brainiac 5) vs John Ong (Manchester Black x 2, Ursa and Invisible Kid)

It was the Queen of Fables tale at the end and Ed took the top spot and three TRUs colossi back to Littlehampton (or is it Brighton?)

I think we all agreed we're going to do it again.
