I'd like if he had a few more 10s or a few less 2s on that dial. Defensively he's sturdy as all get out, but I can't imagine he'll pull his weight if an opponent cracks that defense before he can get to them. Comparing to Avengers Abomination though, shows us just how expensive MoE TA is. Or that the game is obviously power creeping. Last thing, I freakin' hate it when they make AE's Super Rare. STOP DOING THAT!!!
fun looking dial, i do agree that the 2 damages are no bueno..the camo is good but i wish it was true camo so as to block lines of fire of anything, not just attacks..good opening defensive numbers..and yes, AE pieces shouldn't be super-rares --- IM RICK JONES, #####!!! ---
I want to like this guy, but he is just *almost* there in every way. If he had a little more attack, a couple better keywords, and actual camouflage as a trait as per the feat card (all lines of fire, not just attacks), he would be worth his super rare status. As it stands, meh meh and more meh. His attack is abysmal for a 151 pt figure and the camo only helps him so much when it doesnt stop outwit. Another super rare I wont be upset not to pull...
Great defence and Camouflage as a trait is a great choice but still... he should not deal 2 damage except for the last click maybe and why such low attack values? Seriously you can't spend 150+ points in a character with 2 10 in attack and he doesn't even possess one 11.
We just had a Superman set with a lot of HSS, great values and characters and now we have this? For less points in the Supes set I can find a LOT of characters that would OBLITERATE this and if we search in older modern age sets too...
Edit: Oh my... I just noticed that he even doesn't possess Indomitable.
Great for a brick. If played right he should never be PB. I'm sick of people comparing the Hulk set with the Superman set, apples and oranges. Just because 1 set was crazy powerful shouldn't make this set below the norm. To me this set is on par with HoT.
Agree with KillerKing. I mean, he's not bad but he seems a little overcosted with all that 9s. Very nice trait but for 151pts little offensive threat. And even worst, he's a SR so... Ugh! pass.
A full dial of Damage reducers. 6 straight clicks of Super Strength. 3 clicks of at least 18 Defense, with a 19 w/Impervious thrown in there. 4 clicks of Charge. Built in un-Outwittable Camouflage. Two more clicks of life than either of the two new Superman figures. I can see how he is 151 points. Requires a bit more strategy to get to work effectively, not a 'point and click' figure. That Trait will (hopefully) help him get into the battle without getting obliterated by ranged combat figures first. Good figure that I can't wait to get.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
He'll try to play out the whole theory that "the best offense is a good defense." With the trait, minimum Invulnerability, a little Stealth proper, and strong opening defense values, this piece is all about the defense. Middling attack values with a few too many 2 damage values solidify his want in the offensive category. Losing map choice could make A-Bomb totally irrelevant, and the keywords aren't helping much in securing map choice.

I doubt that he'll be irrelevant, no matter where he is playing. A 19 defense is hard to hit, period. With an attack value that bounces between 9 and 10 nearly the whole length of the dial, he still has "average" attack values. As for damage, he makes up for any lack with abundant super strength and exploit weakness. He'll be highly playable, but on the right map obscene.
needs a contingency plan buddy to boost those terrible attack values, but otherwise this is a solid piece. maybe also swingline so he doesn't need to worry about hindering terrain, and also charges farther.
