Ok I checked in the Final Word for this and was surprised that I didn't see the answer or even the question being asked.
Can Rogue use her power on the first turn of the game with a friendly character? First round immunity states that characters cannot be dealt damage. It does not indicate that this can only happen from a non-friendly character, but rather it is stated as a blanket statement.
So my question specificly is this. Can Rogue use Power Absorption on the first round of the game? If so is the impacted character dealt a click of damage?
POWER ABSORPTION: Once during your turn, you may give Rogue a free action and choose an adjacent character and a standard power (other than Outwit or Perplex) that they can use. Until your next turn, Rogue may use the chosen standard power. If Rogue has no action tokens or the chosen character is friendly, deal 1 unavoidable damage to the chosen character.
FIRST-ROUND IMMUNITY
During the first round of the game, characters that have not been given an action, placed, or moved can not be targeted by opposing characters, knocked back, attacked, or damaged, unless a game effect that does so specifically states that it occurs at the beginning of the game.

From the General Ross thread where you asked the same question in regards to Call in the Airstrike

Nothing in Rogue's trait specifically mentions circumventing FRI.
So we will have to wait to Round Two to activate him, unless you give him an action (which kinda messes up the plan). But bonus! Rogue can do her trick without hurting a friend on Round One. I think.

He's got Leadership... that's activated by a free action.
Do we want to make a policy of moderators fixing spelling errors in the titles of threads for this forum? I wait to be asked by the opening poster because I don't want to be rude, but it could be argued that it makes the forum better if spellings are corrected.
(And, eventually, I'll talk everyone into giving me permission to fix grammar IN POSTS and the floodgates will be thrown open! My power will finally be complete! BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!)
