This is the new Impossible Man. Although not the nuisance piece and not as mobile, he is inexpensive and has PC and Outwit simultaneously, with nice attack values at range. He'll be a go-to piece for sure.
Ominous 8: Dr. Doom, Mysterio, M.O.D.O.K., Swarm, the Wizard, the Klaw, dire wraiths, Riptide.
Cheap support figure providing Outwit and an easy-to-work around limited PC. Trait is great with any Herc fig. However, while the Herc in this set is pretty decent, expect Cho to be teamed more often with the SI version. Can be a pinch-hitter, too, for those times you just need to break an Impervious fig with one point of damage. And thanks to the Scientist team, will be present in Superman and Prof. X teams for sure. Best figure previewed from the set so far!
A support piece with at least some damage potential is always a good thing.

The same society that tells people to grow up is the same society that is terrified of words.
yeah this guy is gonna make a splash scientist keyword this pretty much gives the scientist team PC on keyword although he isn't going to do much in the mirror
Just when Scarlet Witch is out of modern age and Jarvis is going out too here it comes Amadeus Cho! A guy who combines the support powers of the two of them! One of the greatest figures of the set and this is why I hate him.
I hate the fact that 90% of characters possessing the Avengers keyword is always good and other teams aren't playable at all.
At least they gave him that attack sp which add points to his total.
"Amadeus, Amadeus! Boop beep bew deep, Boop boop beep... Amadeus!" (ugh my opponent's gonna forfeit, then hit me)
Whether darkest stout, or lightest pale,
You bet I'll down this frothy ale.
For those whose beer is weak and stale,
Beware my glass, homebrewer's grail!!!
Hooray for Cho! Probably one of the pieces in this set I'm more excited about (with Herc!). So glad he got the all-encompassing keyword treatment. Avengers Assemble!
I disagree, actually. Brainiac 5 is certainly less efficient, but you can clearly tell where the points went and his super-support SP is better than Cho's.
If you open this guy in sealed/draft, and you don't use him, there is probably something wrong with your head.
Also, here's some friendly advice. I don't care how much better another brick you opened is compared to Hercules. If you're playing sealed and you open both him AND Hercules in the same, PLAY THEM BOTH. Don't make the same mistake I did. (I went with #013 Abomination because I figured Indomitable and all that. I lost every single match I played.) And if you face a team using Amadeus that doesn't pack Outwit up front, you pretty much win since he has PC at all times on his top dial.
This piece is incredible, and probably my favorite pull of the sealed event I went to last night.
Pulled him in a sealed along with Hercules but I chose to play with him ghost rider aim agent and a white tiger... It worked out well.. Double perplex and with one of my perplexers turning into a fighting machine it ran well.. My last opponent who also had Amadeus... Well it came down to Amadeus vs white tiger.. He had elevated and was in front of the only way to get in... I didn't want to pull some cheese and run away.. So I gave him the 'W' I calculated the points and if I did run I would have won.. Doesn't matter though I still got an Adam warlock!
