The Human Target: Friendly characters adjacent to Human Target may use Shape Change if they cannot already. If a friendly adjacent character makes a successful Shape Change roll, Human Target becomes a target of that attack, even if he is otherwise an illegal target.
Can a character use the Shape Change from this trait to count as a prerequiste for a feat (like Camoflauge)?
As long as the character is adajcent to Human Target, sure.
What exactly does "even if he is otherwise an illegal target" mean?
Say, for example, that your Bane is trying to hit Batman with a close combat attack. It just so happens that Batman is friendly to, not to mention adjcent, Human Target. So Batman will get to use Shape Change when Bane tries to target him with that that close combat attack. Now, if Batman rolls a 5 or 6 with that Shape Change, Bane now must attack Human Target with that close combat attack even if Human Target isn't actually adjacent to Bane.
Same thing can happen with ranged combat attack, too. If Human Target's adjacent friendly character rolls a successful Shape Change roll when it is the target of a ranged combat attack, Human target will then become the target of the attack even if the attacker can't draw line of fire or Human Target is out of range.
Basically, if Shape Change is succesfully rolled, Human Target will be attacked.
What happens if I have more than one Human Target on my team and HT #1 gives a friend Shape Change and now becomes the target of the attack, but HT #2 is adjacent to HT #1; can HT #1 now use Shape Change?
Yes, HT #1 can techinically use Shape Change, but due to that "even if illegal" bit at the end of the trait even if HT #1 succeeds at his Shape Change roll he must still be the target of the attack. Using Shape Change (regardless of its source) won't prevent HT #1 from being a target.
