Not satisfied with any of the arm-swapping Hulks from the Hulk set, I've decided to build my own. The first one I went after was that goofy-looking super rare Hulk from the House of M series. This one is a full sculpt. The only thing I didn't build from scratch is the rock he's standing on (borrowed from Crimson Fox). I realize the anatomy isn't perfect, but if I messed with it any more, I knew I would get to a point where I wouldn't like it anymore.






Thoughts?

I was thinking about doing a similar swap only using Ace. I do like the detail on his tribal paint.

I actually used him for my generic Hulk.

Sorry to be critical, but after seeing some other recent mods of yours, I think this one is a miss.

Whaaaaat? I go from frankensteining mods to full sculpts and you bunk it?

An artist doesn't get better if people coddle them the whole time.

I don't like it much either. Especially the pose, it looks he's trying to do a back flip off of the rock.

Wow. Criticism is one thing, but what's with all the naysayers just shrieking "I don't like it"?

Sorry about that. I suppose if I want to claim to be helping you, some constructive criticism WOULD be in order:

He looks very lumpy

His arms look disproportionate to each other

The face isn't bad, but I know you can do be better

The rocks he's standing on really detract from what you're going for rather than add to it

The overall paint job looks rushed

Who sculpted that rock? It looks terrible!

I wish I could sculpt like this. The left arm and leg look bigger than the right, and the nose is a little big, but I like the rest of it, pose, sculpted details in muscles, etc. Your paint work on the tattoos just makes Wizkids' paintjob look downright lazy and phoned in.
