Cypher and characters brought from outside the game
Quote
CRACK ENEMY COMUNICATIONS: At the beginning of the game, choose a team ability that an opposing character can use that isn't a Wild Card team ability or a team ability a Wild Card can't use. Friendly characters can use that team ability this game in addition to their other team abilities as long as Cypher is on the map.
Say Cypher, and the new Dr. Strange are on a team together against and Batman. Cypher picks Batman TA. During the game, if Strange makes an Astral form of himself, would that character get to use the Batman TA ?
Would these scenarios be any different as far as granting use of the TA?
And if Norman AE'd to Green Goblin?
And if Beast Boy Morphed?
And if Hulklops reverted?
A Horde token respawned?
Adam Warlock and Magus switched?
Can't think of any others off the top of my head, but the thought of Dr. Strange making an army of Mystics is too cool.
As long as they are Friendly to you they would be able to use the team ability, it does not matter when they are brought in.

God help the poor souls who go up against Dr. Strange and Cypher with figures who have the Mystics, Fantastic Four, or X-Men team abilities, among others.
Hmm.. MisterId is correct that any character on your team would get the ability, but I am wondering about a ruling on the Astral Dr. Strange using Batman Ally, because their trait says they do not block line of fire.

They wouldn't block LOF (it will pass through them just fine)... doesn't mean Stealth can't cause a LOF to be blocked to the Astral character itself.
Remember Stealth =/= character. Stealth is a power characters use, sure, but that Stealth has absolutely no effect on how the character itself blocks LOF.
For example, the Sharpshooter ability allows the Sharpshooter to ingore opposing charactes when drawing LOF. In other words, opposing characters won't block a Sharpshooter's LOF. But Stealth will block LOF normally if you try to draw LOF TO a character, even if the character drawing LOF can use the Sharpshooter ability.
I think he means if Say I use Galactus and my opponent offers Cypher or I pull one out for my Herald.
And the GSX is the Horsemen swap.
YOU APPEAR MORE WORTHY: Once per game, give Apocalypse a power action and choose two characters: an adjacent opposing character not on its starting line and a friendly character on the map with a point value higher than the opposing character but lower than Apocalypse. The first character becomes friendly to Apocalypse and gains the Horsemen of Apocalypse keyword. The second character becomes friendly to the first character's force and is healed of 1 damage.
I would think that whatever the opponent picked would then be yours.
I could be wrong on what he ment but that is what I saw ^^

"Your MVP is never one of your Clix. It is your Dice."
Do you get to choose 2 different team abilities that the other team can use?
Or, does the one team ability that you choose get to stay until both Cyphers are killed?
Or, does it do nothing?
Pretty sure you can choose whatever TA the opposing side has, as long as they are copyable of course. So say you choose both Cyphers to pick Mystics. Then in order for the opposing to eliminate your use of Mystics, he/she must KO both. Or you could choose 2 different, but be best if you mark them someway so the opponent knows which is which.

If Cypher switches sides mid-game, his choice of TA doesn't switch. His new team will get the TA he selected now. This would be the same for MC, Possession, You Appear More Worthy, and any other effect that occurs mid-game.
Now Galactus' Herald ability, according to the spoiler, kicks in when teams are first revealed. If Cypher was involved in that, he'd switch teams before the TA was selected (Crack Enemy Communications activates at the start of the game). So if Galactus ended up with Cypher, Galactus' player would get to choose the TA from your force.
