This is a solid mid-point generic for the cost, sight up there with the Kryptonian Infiltrator/Soldier. The Super-Senses, even on a 6, that is unoutwittable is spectacular. The built in prob is icing on the cake, especially since you'll probably be playing this guy on a theme team anyway. There are those who may bemoan that he seems to start out a close combatant and then becomes ranged...but I'd just let him hang back to give everyone else SS and use Super Strength as a deter ant to basing him (or to chuck a lite object 8 squares for a surprise attack). If he does get hit before he uses the object, then his defense skyrockets against ranged attacks (or worst case, he pulse waves the person who smacked him).

The Nova Corps work great as a team, each one bringing something to the table. This guy brings range and close combat threats, semi-Super Senses (better than the Sue Storm LE, since there is no range/LOF prerequisite) and also brings a weird semi-theme prob (though maybe slightly better, since again, you can give an adjacent character the action token, and from that point don't need to be within range/LOF). My only caveat with the piece is that I wish the point cost was 75.

I really like this guy paired up with the 100 point Nova. Giving Nova the chance for super senses (even if it is only on a 6) is pretty awesome. I wish he had one more click of life, but he is still solid.

Better than I thought. Wish I would have remembered to actually roll Super Senses though. So many powers to remember in Nova Corp teams. His charge and super strength was nice to though. Solid Nova Corps piece.
