I stand corrected. I got Nova confused with Quasar! I also can't wait to pull out my old rev Nova pieces too. Man I hope that Nova in the Fast Forces pack is better than these!

Love the keywords. Would have liked to have seen Guardians of the Galaxy though. It has a better rationale than some other figs with certain keywords.

He wasn't on the Guardians of the Galaxy. He wasn't on the Annihilators either so I don't know why he's in the fast forces.

Has nothing to do with the Guardians or Annhilators who came later on.

The fast forces is a team recently put together in comics, called the annihilators, however unless something more recent has happened I dont believe nova is on it, not that im complaining

I really don't know anything about this character. And from what it sounds like it stinks he isn't higher in points than Quasar. But do consider his generic counterparts are 50 and 100 points. Wizkids was thinking on the standard 300 point format on this one. Reguardless of accuracy, I wouldn't mind this guy for a police themed team. Alongside some of my favorite figures like Zoom and GL + Flash.

This Nova is Nova from his own series in 2009 when the Worldmind was in Ego the living planet and his power was distributed to all these new corps members. He is not at full strength because he isn't full on with the entire worldmind.

Xais is correct. This dial is post-Annihilation, when the Nova Corps was back in swing and he wasn't holding the entire Nova Force within. Also in Thanos Imperative he gathers Surfer, Gladiator, and the other powerhouses and launches an attack on Lord Marvel's home base. That, for all intents and purposes, was the first appearance of the Annihilators (and why he's in the Fast Forces).

I for one really like this dial. It's solid for the points. I can't wait to use it.

Being a Nova fanboy and having re-read the recent post "Annihilation" Nova series, this is actually pretty spot on for that Nova. As much as I've heard other people whine about him being "not powerful enough" (he does at least deserve indomitable. I can see Power Cosmic TA, but that's almost pushing it) he's actually "compromised" through most of his series. When he's infected with the transmode virus from the Phalanx, he's using most of his power to hold it back from infecting him. Everytime there's a new Nova Corp recruit, he's sharing his power with them. There's only two real times during that series where Nova is "full powered": When he comes back to earth during the first couple of issues and around issues 13 through 17, where he's trying to evacuate a planet before Galactus eats it (although at that point we learn that Worldmind had secretly been recruiting new Nova Corpsmen, but there are only 5 at that point so it's not a real power drain). During that Galactus arc, Silver Surfer decides to give Nova a chance to evacuate instead of taking Richie to school, which he could easily do as we see in their brief tussel. And for those who will talk about Nova beating Annihilus himself, that's right AFTER Annihilus survived the destruction of his fleet by Galactus and had the quantum bands removed from him. So yeah, Nova finished him but at that point almost anyone could. My point is this: As "great" as having all the Nova Force was, Rich couldn't use it to it's full potiental most of the time due to outside forces. And the times he could use it to the max, he still wasn't this uber powerful figure that everyone wants. Could he have used indomitable or a click of Impervious? Sure. Power Cosmic might be pushing it though. This dial is solid for Richard as Nova Prime. I look forward to rocking and rolling with it.

Bit of a nova fanboy as well, really like the sculpt (if it looks like that in reality), dial is good and i think reflects him in "nova prime mode", it shouldn't have indomitable 'cos he was knackered all the time. my problem is his SP, for that point cost it should be anyone who shares a keyword not just nova corps IMHO, and he should have leadership aswell.

At HellB0y: Nova Prime is friendly to himself so he can use Leadership from his trait. But he only succeeds on 6 like it says.

At least that's how I understand how it works any way. If I'm wrong please let me know.

Not convinced he has leadership, as such, due to the trait ... all other "worldmind" traits give 1 advantage to other corps members and a different one to the owner of the trait, so all others have leadership. but if one is adjacent then they can take a action token from Nova Prime.
However on a non corps team I don't think he would have leadership. ... But I'll be happy if someone says otherwise :-)
