WOW. So if I read this power correctly, as long as the character can use stealth, lines of fire to it are blocked, which means it's technically NOT using stealth so it's not relying on hindering terrain for line of fire to be blocked which means abilities and powers like the Superman TA and the Ultimates TA are useless on stealth guys as long as this guy is within 6 squares! Please correct me if I'm wrong.
The Superman Ally TA will not be effective against Stealth characters not occupying hindering. A great boon to Batman Ally teams. He may be even more effective than Metron when teamed up with Nightcrawler, provided that Bill is tucked away safely, and NC isn't occupying hindering and/or within Charge/HSS range. Feel free to add Ambush to characters to increase their AV, but only if they have an SP or Trait that allows them to use Stealth (as opposing to having it showing on their dial).
Was very excited when I first saw him.....drunk with love for the damage reducers and the Indomitable....and then I started to really think about the piece and the honeymoon ended.
This is not Bill, and doesn't seem to have been designed by anyone who knew or liked the character. Just read the back of the card....this homogenizing of clix is starting to get on my nerves....give us worldbeaters that are in the 200ish and up range, and street level characters in the 100 pt and under range.
Remember when Beta ray Bill moved around an army of hand ninjas? Or when he served as a taxi for Nightcrawler? So why is he paying for a power that's practical use is as UN-thematic as possible.
Where is the running shot....the close combat expert and the pulsewave? Why are his defense values consistently mediocre? Sigh...sadly the best Dial I have seen for ol' Bill was the leaked playtest dial from HoT....that sadly got watered down to what we have now.
"I love man for all the potential that he holds, and hate men for how seldom they live up to it"
provides a minor boost to stealth buddies. also, i don't think it cares if they're occupying hindering or not. this guy's neat, but not game-breaking. definitely no metron.
Not nearly powerful enough to be Beta Ray Bill but that seems to be what Wizkids are doing these days. Very playable but he should have been 200/150 instead.
Not saying Cosmic Storm isn't an awesome trait...its just too bad no Annihalators or Asgardians have stealth and very few Cosmics or Warriors do either. There are quite a few sneaky Robots, however...
Amazing fig. Stock in Cable LE went up for sure. Ive always had fun with the stealth figs from GSX like LE archangel, uncommon Psylocke and LE Cable.
LE Cable Beta ray Bill and Nurse or gem will be lots of fun to play! Nightcrawler getting retired opened the door for so many possibilities.

Plays extremely well with some Marvel Knights using the TA. You can force opponents to come to you in a hurry if you can move down the board and keep cover. Use with a leadership figure like Luke Cage in order to get maximum movement potential.
If you read the Annihilators books then you'd see why this version of Beta Ray Bill is pretty accurate. He isn't going full power, but no on else really is in the series either- It's more about team work.
The click itself is highly playable and the special powers are both fantastic. Tough piece to bring down with the right team.
