Solution: change the Universe field to Other, and the selector to "Is Not In." I had the same issue and this solved it for me.

just filter the result by universe if you need to

I won't make a seperate units section; as it's been said before, this is all "HeroClix"; just because some people are comic book purists doesn't change the fact that this is a HeroClix site, and our tools are built for the platform, not for specific universes. Does that means that inthe future I might not make it so that you can set preferences for the "Marvel/DC/Indy" universe by default? ... that may be an option.

To everyone else who was too dense to understand my description of my ability to perform in depth search involving the units section you can all go strait to the nearest location ruled by the heavy hand of Beelzebub.
