I wanted to know if there is any Clix convention/large scale tournaments based in the UK.

I keep hearing about USA versions which is abit out of my way so wanted to know if there are any closer to home?

Ah do not belive so, but I'm more posting here so I'll be alerted if it turns out that there is. Priorities, mate, gotta have 'em sorted.

There haven't been any big clix conventions in the UK since Topps stopped doing Heroclix (They used to be held in Milton Keynes and/or Loughborough).

I think the biggest events now are probably held on the South Coast and are usually announced on the yahoo heroclix-uk group.

I would happily travel for a large scale, two day Clix event in the UK.

Some of the UK Cons have Clix events (normally multiple tournaments over the con rather than one chain of events.)

Noman and I ran games at Conception at the start of Feb this year and I'm pretty sure ShadowCon this year has games planned for both days. Click for details

I'd love to see a multi day tournament - It's about time we competed for the UK Championship again - but getting enough people in one place for two days is no simple feat.

Have any of the UK retailers here considered hiring out some space at the London Comic and Film Convention or something (if they don't already)? Would be a great way to hold tournaments and advertise the game at the same time. Maybe breathe some life back into the heroclix scene again.
