I have a question about the following Special Power:
THE MIGHTY MOLE : Cave Carson can use Phasing/Teleport. When he does, he can use the Carry ability, and must place debris tokens into the squares where he begins and ends his movement. Cave Carson ignores the effects of debris tokens on movement.
I am looking at this 2 ways and would like some clarity.
Thought 1: Since this says where he begins and ends his MOVEMENT and not turn, I take this as, when you count the 1 for movement you place a debris token and where his last movement was (which is more straight forward).
So, this would mean he places his debris token in an adjacent square from where he started his turn, thus giving Carson 2 debris tokens each move.
Thought 2: Where he started his turn, so he would only get one each move since he would start his turn where he ended up on the last move.
Where he starts his movement is the square he occupies when you give him the move action. Note that if he was moved or placed without using Phasing/Teleport, or the first round of the game, he may not be in a square containing a debris token. Knockback, carried, and TKed can all cause him to be in a non-debris token square.

Any proof on this or resources?
Pretty subjective here since I can see both scenarios valid.

Because you begin the movement in the square you are given the action. Otherwise standing in hindering terrain would have no effect on a character. "Any character that begins its movement in hindering terrain halves its speed value before moving."
If Cave moves from 1 to 2, there is only one starting point...1. That is where you begin the movement. You can't begin your movement from a square which you do not occupy.

when he is given any kind of movement he starts with a 0 movement in the square he occupies and then can continue his movement from there up to his speed value. So the first square of movement is the square he occupies.
I cannot quote right now but: 2011 Core Rulebook Page 8 under Move Action
