Yes he can use the leadership, because it doesnt say "other" or "adjacent" friendly characters and characters are always friendly to themselves. That goes for all the other Worldmind traits also.
@Hellboy All other worldmind traits confer their benefit to both the fig with the trait as well as all the other nova corps members, this one included.
Played this click on a 700 pt Nova Corps team when I opened my brick and was very surprised with how versatile he is. I got extremely lucky with his trait at the start of the game, and ended up succeeding on the extra Leadership rolls FIVE TIMES! I ended up with 12 available actions for six figures (I know, completely useless at the start of the game, but still, TWELVE AVAILABLE ACTIONS!!).
I'm going to try him on some other teams to see if he holds up outside the Corps.

Justice for Sand Hawkins!!
Played him as Galactus' herald, one of the best heralds IMO. At one point he had 3 or 4 revenge tokens and was double tokened, I took out GG Dr. Strange and then flew all the way back behind Galactus and Rested. Man that herald mechanic is fun!! I did end up losing BTW, I failed every single Imperv role of that game, and the big G got super outwitted by Adam Warlock right away so I took like 10 clicks at the beginning of the match, not a great way to start but I had them down to 5 figs, only two of which had an AV of 3 or higher, I tried to take out Fandral but his SP saved him and then my second attack missed, he was the one that finished G.
@VenomDaBomb
""Question. Can he running shot next to a recruit, have the recruit take a token off him, then running shot again? " No you can't. Same reason why you can't push after taking an action. its one action a turn per character. as quoted by the rerule book "A character can never be given more than one non-free action per turn." "
That quote would then prevent Blastaar from taking a double power action. So I think somewhere we are missing something...:ermm:
Forgive me if this is a noob question, but what are the stars across from the rarity on some figures and where do they come from? I notice some figures have various stars, while some have none. Just curious.
A double power action is 1 action that gives two tokens. You are able to receive 2 tokens in the same turn, you just cannot give a figure 2 tokenable actions in the same turn. If you use theme PC and give a cleared figure a token, that figure could them push later that turn and receive another token.

Actually rowdyoctopus, I hate to inform you that it would be breaking the rules to give an action to someone that had taken a TTP in the same turn... because TTP's don't count to your action total for the turn, doesn't mean they don't count for that characters actions. Think about it, if what you said was true, the Avengers and Brotherhood TAs would be downright broken.

Unfortunately I have run in to this problem and rowdy is (much to my dismay when it was ruled) correct. You can TTP with a character, then give that same character an action. Here is why: pg7 a character may never be given more than 1 non-free action per turn, however pg 21 must not have already taken a non-free action this turn, give this character an action TOKEN (this does not affect your action total this turn). Ok so it looks like an action so far, but prob control states, a character using PC may make your opponent re-roll one dice roll on his turn, and you to re-roll one dice roll on your turn, given the event is <10 & LoF is there. Here's the orange rule, pc is not an action, it never says it in the power, nor does TTP say IT is an action, you get a token and you cannot have already been given an action, but IT isn't an action. I asked for that clarification in the updated rules, to say: a TTP is NOT an action, but bunches of folks just shrugged like I was the only one to mis-interpret it......so there ya go.
A good defense will only last for so long, before you must crush your enemies outright!

The Unstoppable is right, but after wading through that wall of text, even I was confused by the end, and I knew the right answer from the beginning. To make the answer a little more succinct: You can TTP and THEN take an action, but you may not take an action then TTP.
