I am much confused. I don't even like Outwit, but you almost can't win a tournament without it. So here is my question:

Can you Outwit a stealthed figure when you are in HTH (base to base)? I'm talking regular Stealth here, not team abilities. It seems to me that you don't have to draw a Line Of Sight when you are in someone's face. If I can see him to punch him, I should be able to see him to Outwit him.

Please help, because it seems to be different at different venues. I'm not even overly concerned about which way the rule works. I just want everyone on the same page when I play.

You always have to Draw Line of Fire. Even if your next to them.

In other words. No you cant outwit someone in stealth, batman team ability or Kabuki if they are on hindering Terrain (without superman team ability.)

No you cannot, as you can't draw a line of fire to any figure in stealth, and Outwit requires a line of fire. Close Combat attacks do not require line of fire, simply adjacency.
