How about a V-Dr. Doom who uses his MOD ability to become Green Lantern Team. He could then carry 4 SHIELD agents with him (say a 500 point game) on a Running Shot action and have his damage upped by 4, right?

Actually I did make a mistake in my post. SHIELD was a move action under the original rules so if we're mixing old and new rules it can't be done after Thor carries them.
My apologies for that. I guess I just got a little ahead of myself with the whole old rules/new rules stuff.

As with the Thor question, we are still unsure. It all boils down to if you can use the SHIELD TA while being carried with RS.
IF it becomes possible to do so, then yes, Doom would be able to Carry 4 SHIELD members and use all of them to pump up his damage (provided you have the nessesary actions to do so. As I said before, it is (for now) up to each judges interpretation of the timing of the SHIELD TA weither this is possible.....
I think they should make it read that after you've given another character a power action, if that power action involves a ranged combat attack, then you may place an action token on a shield team character and gain a +1 to damage on the ranged attack provided that during the action the shield character is adjacent to the figure making the power action.
This wording (or a clearer version of it) would elimate the problem from giving them a free action and get around the NAAT prohibition about taking a power action. Since this ability is tied to another chacter making a power action, just go ahead and say that.
