I dunno if anyone has noted this before, but would it be possible to add the little + button to the "Your Collection" list, like the ones in the unit listing area when doing a search for a unit, etc so that you can easily create team builds from the list of characters you own in your collection rather than having to go back and do a search just to add that unit to the build?
I second this - I just started adding my collection today specifically so I could use the Build option, but I've discovered that it is really pointless. If I can't use my collection to directly build a team, why would I bother to take the time to enter it?

You guys can do exactly what your looking to do if you use the advanced search. Just go to the bottom where it says inventory options. Set your "keep" to is greater than or equal to 1, put 1 in the box and hit search. May take a few minutes to generate the list (of course the units section can be slow normally) but it does exactly what you asked for.
Not only that but you can narrow it down further by filling in a few of the other boxes, like team ability, attack value, speed power, etc.
