I ask anyone & everyone what are your recommendations for Modern Age themed teams (please include ATA's, The Infinity Gauntlet, and anything else that sound outright wicked good).

One I have wanted to play:

Super Skrull-143+ 30IG
Black Bolt-133
Xavin-75

This gives you a TK/Pulse Wave combo in which you can follow up with Super Skrull coming in to tie everyone up. Only three figures hurts this team a bit, but these figures are very difficult to hurt/kill with a great variety of powers plus skrull team ability. With the IG super skrull has Super Senses, Shape Change, and Skrull.

If you prefer a more balanced approach:

Super Skrull(Gravity Feed)-100+IG(one gem)= 115
Xavin-75
Replica-47
Skrull Infiltrator-30

You can still keep the TK+Pulse Wave Combo but you get varied attackers. Just a couple of fun teams I have wanted to try out.

If you want to be down right mean try a "mystical" keyword theme team with

Chase Loki-220+IG
Dr. Strange(Gravity Feed)-75
Detective Chimp-62
Astral Strange

20 defense+Shape Change/Super senses from range. Perplex and outwit.

Neither your first or last teams are theme teams, Klepto.

You need at least 4 figures on a named theme team (your first Skrull team) and at least 6 for a generic theme (your mystic team) at 400 pts.

Shoot I get confused because my venue only requires you to share a keyword for tournies, not actual theme teams! Sorry!
