Well now that school is done I only have to worry about work, therefore I have some free time. I was thinking about modding my first game of mafia! I would really like an experienced person to co-mod with me if anyone is up for it. I was thinking something along the lines of an anime mafia but I'm not sure how many people that would attract so it isn't set in stone. If you want to co-mod with me or have any ideas for my first mafia please let me know! Thank you all for your time.

My advice: as someone who created a WAY-too-complicated first time game, make most of the roles quite simple and expirment with only a couple of the roles.
Take it from someone who's never GMed successfully! Put a bunch of stuff down, PM it out, and watch mayhem ensue. Nothing will go as you think it will.
Ya I might not do anime then. I don't think it has a huge following on these forums (within the mafia playing community) I still might do it, I will have to think on it and see how many people I get. And I really would love you and Darq's advice I really respect both of you as players and people. And thank you Zyxba and Velius, your support means a lot. If I add a sign up and get a good amount of people we can do the anime mafia but if I don't I will probably close it and try something else.
It actually has a decent following here, but honestly, you would be hard pressed to get 15 players. However, a small game can be simple to run, especially starting out.
Players don't realize how hard it can be to run a mafia game when they first start out. You have to balance roles before the game starts, then you have to make sure you can put together night actions properly. The night write-up can be tricky if you're not familiar with it (and I am still prone to getting it wrong).
Darq and Immortal are both experienced moderators and would be great to have on board assisting you.

Thank you for the advice. I will knock it down to probably 12. but I really don't want to go lower than that. I'm sure it won't be easy but it sounds fun actually seeing everything unfold.
