i like what they did with the diamond form, but it still isn't perfect. she should be able to switch back and forth freely.

Battlefield Promotion is still too difficult to pull off consistently. It's worse than Alter-Ego, but they've made Alter-Ego better.

You have to hit 2 pieces before you even have a chance to change over. Even then, you have to roll a 6. By the time she hits 2 or more pieces, she will have already taken damage damage enough to make the incoming piece useless. That is IF she survives long enough to hit 2 pieces.

In my opinion, it should activate on any successful hit for damage of 2 or more, and on a roll of 5 or 6 switch over.

Or keep the difficulties but let her switch out for a brand new Emma Frost on the top of her dial. That would make all the work of keeping her alive to switch out worth it.

Okay, take my last scenario. She doesn't switch in on a brand new top dial, but for each counter on her, she minuses that from her current dial number. So if White Queen has two counters on her and swaps out at click 4, Emma Frost comes in at click 2 (4-2=2).

Emma would say to you:

“Superpowers, a scintillating wit and the best body money can buy……..
………. and I still rate below a corpse”

No Gen. X keyword?! They even describe her in the article as "Headmistress.".

Costumes are perfect, just wish she was checking her nails instead of heiling the Reich.

I thought that the GSX version of Emma Frost was great with the 2 TA's, but this takes that and adds a few things that were missing.

Namely Leadership and front loaded Mind Control. Those two additions are quintessential attributes that define this character in my mind and make this a sure get for me alone, the other thing I like is that she is now over 100 points.

Anyone SHOULD definitely think twice before trying to Mind Control her.

Being that she has a built in ability to heal herself with X-Men TA, you'd think they would have addressed that. I'm inclined to think it'll probably get ruled out that she can't be healed to a lower click number than 8 if she's past that point. Obviously that'd be disadvantageous, but not so much that it would make it foolish to go diamond-mode (which is really the stronger of the two post-stopper dials.)

battlefield promotion was an exceplent way to showcase her power changes.
jean needs to be in the set because the complete oversight of a playable non-phoenix force jg has loomed over heroclix from the get go and thos setnis as good as any. plus that whole big power shift thing again

Battlefield Promotion works like the AE ability right? I can have both of them in my force without having to pay for both? I just switch to from WQ to Emma when I manage to hit the Battlefield Promotion roll right? I was considering trying to put together Mr.Sinister Infinity Gauntlet 700 pt. force and including Emma/WQ in there.

Having the "morph" mecanism between the two (early and lately) figures was my first bet... but they did not go this route...

This is good i mean, and i'm happy with both the dials, but yes, there si some kind of missed opportunity here. Probably to stick with the "each character has the same battlefield promotion mecansim".
