I think the Big 12 will eventually expand grabbing a few ACC teams, however I don't think the "Dominoes are about to fall" announcement will be made tonight. There is too much smoke for there not to be a fire somewhere. It may not be a sure thing, after all the Big 12 dying was not a sure thing, but there sure was some fire.

I think we are closer to 4 Power Conferences than any one really knows. It's going to come down to the haves and the have nots. My eye is on Notre Dame. Once more and more dominoes fall, look for Notre Dame to join a conference.

4 power conferences sounds about right.....
the usc conference
the oklahoma conference
the alabama/lsu conference
the ohio state conference

and then we'll have the same 4 teams playing for the national title
