Not being a big DC fan, can someone tell me why Lex has red hair and looks like a monk in his early incarnation?

A new Battlesuit Lex has been a big want for me. This one at 160 pts is great.

One thing I have always wondered about The Suit.

WHY IS THEIR NO HELMET ???

It seems like one blow to the head and its all over.

Standard trope called: Helmets Are Hardly Heroic.

I always viewed it as a mocking and temptation of Superman. Lex knows that Superman won't kill him, so the helmet would just be a formality. The suit itself with it's protection-less design is an insult to Superman's moral code.

Old Lex is a great manipulator-Lex, but shouldn't have had Flurry. Dealing out 6 damage in close combat is bizarre for Lex. It should have had some range instead.

New Lex is just beautiful. For once I don't object to a battlesuit with Psychic Blast; I'll buy that Lex can find a weakness somehow on just about anyone. And I might need to get ahold of some Kryptonite objects now.

If it makes you feel better, it's been shown that while there's no "hard metal helmet", there is a head-specific force field in place (as folks less moral than Superman have tried firing bullets at Lex's noggin).

Man, these look great, so far this whole set is a must have for me...

If you got some MM fodder I don't see why not although it'd be harder to get the 10 needed for the 160 point version vs the 100 pointer. He does have a 10 attack so that makes it fairly easy to hit most characters. Remember it only says he has to hit it doesn't say he has to do damage so just keep attacking even if you need a crit hit to do damage cause all you have to do is make contact to get a promotion token not injure him.

I can't decide whether Battlesuit Lex wants to go out on the town with DKR 203 Catwoman or hang with his buddy, Sargon the sorcerer.

Need I say more why hes is a red head at that time....
