Split/Merge: You get the idea here. Attack from Above!: Manticore and Hercules may use charge. If they attack from a higher elevation they gain +2 to their damage for that attack. The Lion of Olympus has claws as well!: Manticore and Hercules may use BCF, the minimum damage is 3. Wingover: Manticore and Hercules may use Combat Reflexes, Energy Shield/Deflection, and Toughness
Evolution pushed to the limit: Give The Griffin a free action to roll a D6. On a result of 4-6, increase his attack value by 1 until your next turn, on a result of 5-6 increase his defense value by 1 until your next turn, on a result of 6, increase his damage value by 1 until your next turn. These bonuses can stack
You could probably throw in "On a result of 3-6, increase his movement value by 1 until your next turn", just so he's got the quartet.
Also, instead of the free action, what about something like "At the beginning of your turn, roll a D6 a number of times equal to half The Griffin's click number, rounding down (minimum 0)"? Then the bonuses really will stack up (at the mercy of the die and the Rule of Three, of course). Might be overkill for Griffy here, though.
I have been waiting in Wiz Kids to make the Griffin for a while and actually thoughts we'd see him in Chaos War, once they changed the set name. Except that was just a clever way to release the same set with a better tie-in and not much to do with the series. Anyway, great ideas, I like the change made where trait powers can can be stacked, like Dark Beast, and do agree the should be a +2bonus instead of just +1. Add animal keyword and I think this piece is complete.
Forced Evolution: Griffin can use Toughness and Regeneration. If Griffin has two action tokens, he may use Regeneration as a free action. When Griffin heals from using Regeneration, put an evolution token on his card if there are fewer than three on his card. Griffin may use Perpelx targeting only himself for each evolution token he has
The Special feels a little clunky to me, but I love the potential that Griffin has if he Regenerates even once, and MoE lets him manipulate his dial really effectively, including some free regen rolls.

I blog. God help me, I'm one of those people now.
. . . considering that he's missing both the spoon and the milk from his bowl of psycho nuts . . . -Techno, in Thunderbolts, regarding Graviton

Sounds to me like the Griffin needs to hook up with a better gene splicer and mount Namor and Hercules. You know Herc's Greek ### would love it. What!?
Hmm never heard of this guy. He looks like something out of He-Man though.
He's older then He-Man. First appearance had him fighting the Beast and Spiderman in Marvel Team Up if I remember correctly. I'd love to see him made. Preferably as he first appeared.
Nevermind. His first appearance was against The Beast alone in an issue of Amazing Adventures.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.

Well if they did that version, he can have Mind Control as he could control birds.

Love that issue or even better is this one:
Griffin so badly needs to be made! I preferred him when his face was more human than lion too.
I first encountered this character in West Coast Avengers #10, and thought that the Griffon was a great character...!!!
He/it (???) has been on my want list to be made list for years now, Griffon's the type of character that could fit into any set as a filler villain really.
Here is an old mod of Griffin I made a long time ago out of a DC Fury. Over the years he has lost some of his detail, and I had to move him off his flight stand that had broken. But here he is.
